Xavi Manresa, CEO
Cap Cap was born in 1988, after the first tour of Europe with a local group from Barcelona.
BCN scenester band Subterranean Kids was looking for someone who met two criteria: a driver's license and some English. Die-hard music enthusiast Xavi readily signed up to be their tour manager for the planned 6-week tour of Germany, Holland and Belgium.
Six months of squats, vehicle breakdowns and new friendships later, Xavi knew his calling. He was going to connect the world's best alternative and independent artists with their audience throughout Spain.
In 1988 he organized his first concert in the Sala Comunique de Sants, Barcelona. At that time there were only eight national promoters: five from Barcelona, one from Madrid, one from San Sebastian and one from Valencia.
Now, after over thirty years of experience in negotiating and contracting with A-list talent,
agencies, festivals and journalists, Xavi is taking his diverse talents to the international stage. While he won't be turning his back on the loyal fans who have supported 'his' bands, Xavi looks forward to expanding his influence into the North and Latin American territories.
